🚨 Bungoma Community on Alert as 12-Year-Old Pupil Goes Missing

The search is underway in Bungoma County for 12-year-old Dickson Oyule, a Grade IV pupil at Marell Junior School, Kibabii, who has been missing since Saturday, 26 July 2025. His disappearance has sparked deep concern among his family, teachers, and the wider community.

According to his guardian, Pastor Jeremiah Kiruaye, Dickson — a Luhya (Banyore) — was last seen wearing a brown long-sleeve sweater with black and white stripes. He speaks Swahili and some English. His home is located at Tuuti Market, just below the local police post.

Witness reports indicate that Dickson has been spotted on several occasions since his disappearance, often in the company of street children (“chokora”) around Bungoma town. He is said to frequent areas near the bus stop and around Moi Primary School.

Pastor Kiruaye told PashaWise News that Dickson’s absence has left the family anxious and sleepless.

“We are pleading with anyone who sees Dickson to help bring him home safely. We miss him dearly and only want him back where he belongs,” he said. “May God bless you for any assistance you can give.”

Local residents have been urged to stay alert and report any sightings immediately. The family believes that quick action from the community could be the key to reuniting Dickson with his loved ones.

Police in the area have also been notified, and community members are encouraged to share any credible information without delay.
